Dear Mom and Dad,
I might not say this often, or even say it without truly meaning it, but my mom and dad ARE my superheroes! Here are FOUR reasons why you matter the most to me:
#1 Your Warm Hugs are Magic!
The moment you hug me it’s safety and happiness. It is like you give me a shield to be brave with, when I meet new friends or try new things. Your endless love gives me wings and makes me strong!
#2 You Are My Real Wise Owls!
Sometimes my friends might tell me to do some pretty silly things, but you always help me to know what is right. You show me how to be kind and share my toys, all while caring for my own needs and feelings. When I am not sure what to do, I think, “What would Mom and Dad say?”
#3 Home is My Cozy Fort!
After a long day of adventures-and sometimes troubles-it feels just so great coming home to you. It’s like my own special hideout where I can relax and be myself. Knowing you’re there, makes me feel confident enough to explore the big world outside.
#4 You Help Me Be Me!
The world can be a confusing place at times, and too many people have suggestions about what I should be or do. You do an excellent job, though, in reminding me that it’s all right to be me. You help me take pride in who I am, even if that means that I am different from all the others.
Thanks for being my mom and dad! You are helping me grow up to be happy in my mind and strong in my heart. I love you to the moon and back!
